How would you like to see this web resource develop?

Personally I would find the following useful: an up-to-date publication list for books, conference proceedings, journals etc. Some social bookmarking similar to http://del.icio.us/ perhaps? A list that members can add to online.

A shared ‘library’ of theses and papers for members.

A peer review network to help get feedback on work in progress or to bounce ideas around.

A list of members and what they are currently working on. A way of keeping in contact with others in the field and seeing duplication in research areas.

A calendar to keep track of upcoming conferences.

I think technically we could do all of above but we also should keep in mind sustainability of these informations. Bookmarking systems like del.icio.us have one drawback I personally don’t like: that is a lack of keeping things up 2 date.

The other suggestions are quite interesting and do certainly help to develop nhf in a vibrant community site.

A list of appropriate jnls and conferences and maybe intneresting book releases would be appreciated. I kept a list here of conferences that interest me but there are too many to keep track of by one person http://www.itee.uq.edu.au/~erikc/Conferences/ConferenceList2006.htm
